Your Climate Action Diary - 30

Year 2022 Week 52 Anushthatri Sharma
Hi,

Season Greetings !

‘Climate Action’ as it stands today is peculiar ! We progress 5 steps & then fall back 4, as 'resistant to change' world order catches up. The news-cycle that we covered this year, you and us, on this very newsletter, is a testimony of this.

Look no further than the pieces this week - developments only from the last few days alone. While on one hand, clean energy projects are gathering momentum (in this case, nuclear); on the other hand we are issuing new fossil power plants (in this case, coal) aimed at securing energy independence, especially at the wake of the Ukraine-Russia war.

Needless to say, 'Climate Action' not only peculiar, but complex and its needs critical thinking and being able to connect far-off dots, as it progresses.

As we close this year, we would like to thank you for letting us be a part of your climate journey. It is individuals like yourself that will play the most important role, in the years to come. In fact, we will need more of you.

We look forward to the 2023 !

Stay Safe,

Harish,
Team OnePointFive Tribe
