Climate Scientists Earn Nobel Prize In Physics

Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi - has been conferred with the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics for their exemplary work for understanding how the Earth's climate is changing, pinpointing the effect of human behavior on those changes and describing other complex natural systems.

EU To Back 5-Year Targets At COP26 Climate Talks

The European Union has agreed to back five-year climate targets at the coming COP26 climate summit. Countries will attempt to finalise the rules needed to put the Paris Agreement into effect & to support that, countries would set climate targets every five years.

US & EU Led Initiative Hail Progress On Global Methane Pledge

With the COP26 climate conference a few days away, new support from 24 countries have joined a global pact to pare methane emissions. The new commitments come from nations that have agreed to cut emissions at least 30% by the end of the decade from 2020 levels.
