Your Climate Action Diary - 34

Year 2023 Week 8 Anushthatri Sharma
Hi,

Hope you are well !

With more and more countries promising 'net-zero' emissions, we are gradually warming up (pun intended) to a period where national strategies for 'low-carbon-emitting future' is being actively explored and developed.

This is definitely a welcome change in attitude. But again, as this unfolds - the trick would be to maintain an active watch on the strategies and their implementation. There is always the risk of ineffective strategies, lazy governance, bad execution and of course, corruption.

At OnePointFive, we are on it - and we will continue to share the story with you.

It is worth acknowledging that if the 'net-zero' plans succeed to contain the climate crisis and minimise its damage, we would have effectively de-coupled our economies from emissions.

Imagine, how wonderful that would be !!
Happy Reading !

Stay Safe & Regards,
