In 2021, The G20 Supported The Fossil Fuel Industry More Than Ever

COP27: What You Need To Know About This Year's Climate Summit

At the UN climate summit in Egypt, world leaders are expected to talk about measures to combat climate change. Only 25 nations have submitted their ambitious national climate plans so far. (i) Reducing emissions, (ii) assisting nations in their preparation and response to climate change, & (iii) securing financial and technical assistance for these initiatives for developing nations will be the three key areas of focus for COP27.

U.S. EPA To Establish a $27 Billion Green Bank

The EPA began a $27 billion green bank to offer grants to disadvantaged communities around the United States, to deploy low or zero-emissions projects. The administration's larger campaign to address environmental injustice and prevent climate change includes the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund.
