Year 2023 Week 35 Anushthatri Sharma
Hi,

Hope you are well !

We are 95 days away from this year's big climate conference "COP 28" to be held in Dubai. The COP conferences are led by UNFCCC - and make for the biggest gathering of global leaders and their climate negotiators.

It is here that the pathway to climate-action, net-zero ambition & their associated government/business policies are debated and agreed upon.

We accept that climate action has progressed in the last few years (sample the news coming in from Japan and here in Andhra Pradesh), but in all fairness the speed of progress is nearly not enough.

Climate Finance remains among the most serious concerns; and the global leaders are well aware of this. COP 28 could be prove momentous in fixing this gap. Let's hope the national governments are all aligned on this task.

We'll follow the developments emerging from COP28 here on this newsletter, as it progresses - so that you do not have to miss out on anything.

Happy Reading. And yes, stay critical.

Regards,
